I take landscape photographs all over Maine - from the coast to the inland lakes, woods and mountains - and specialize in capturing the Milky Way and Northern Lights whenever possible. Some of my favorite locations are the iconic lighthouses at Marshall Point, Nubble, Pemaquid, West Quoddy Head, Bass Harbor, and Doubling Point, as well as Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor and Moosehead Lake in Greenville. Whenever possible, my wife Sonia and I travel to locations like the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire, Utah's stunning Arches, Canyonlands, and Zion National Parks, and other beautiful dark sky areas in the west such as Monument Valley, Shiprock and Valley of Dreams in New Mexico, and the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The beauty and wonder of the natural world - especially at night - never ceases to amaze me and it's that feeling I try to communicate in my art.
